I work in IT but need a fast and dirty home KVM for a project. I plugged everything in and while it worked, switching between displays and KM was VERY slow. Not to mention that this might not be a problem with this KVM in particular (I haven't noticed this with others) since my resolution is higher on my external monitor than on my laptop, my window position changed every time I turn on switch the input to another computer. Tried multiple computers, same thing. Also, and slightly less importantly, there's a TON of wires coming out of this thing. One cable for each computer, one for keyboard, one for mouse, 1 HDMI for each computer and one HDMI for monitor. There are 7 wires in total. If you can't hide those cables, there's no need for cable management. Although the price is right I don't think I would buy it again or recommend it to anyone.
