Review on Airscape Coffee and Food Storage Canister: Innovative Airtight Lid Maintains Food Freshness | Stainless Steel Container, Small Size 4-Inch Canister with Two Way Valve | Brushed Steel by Phillip Rodriguez

Love the red color (I already had one in brushed stainless steel). This size can hold about half a pound of beans and still allows for a little pressure on the inner airtight lid, but no more. I prefer the height of this container as it fits on the shelf where I want to keep it (and a taller one won't) and also I prefer to only buy 8 ounces of coffee at a time. The sealed aspect of the design seems to work well, keeping half a pound of beans fresh for as long as I have them. Usually a couple of weeks. Comparing this canister to my stainless steel canister (purchased from Pete maybe a year ago) I noticed that the clear top cap is actually different as mentioned in previous reviews. Not sure for what reason, maybe originally to vent the freshly roasted beans but due to the closed inner lid it might not have been necessary in the end. I don't notice the freshness of the beans differing in the design of the cans, so I guess I'll conclude it wasn't a necessary feature in the end and the company removed it. This jar will probably work well for brown sugar. Storage, but if I wanted it for that, I'd go for a larger jar.
