These are lightweight knives that need to be dried immediately after cleaning. Steel blades rust quickly when wet. My set started rusting on the edge of the blade after the first use. Of course, after cleaning, I let them air dry overnight. It was a big mistake. I don't think I'll be buying more drywall knives in the future as I only have small repairs around the house and these knives are capable of the job. However, if you do heavy drywall work, they are not suitable for this purpose. They can't stay wet for long and the construction isn't very durable in my opinion. Finally, these knives don't have a hammer handle for driving drywall nails into them.
