Great value for money. Don't expect high quality commercial instruments at this price point. In fact, this whole set costs about the same as a good/professional spatula. Clean, dry and put back in the soft case after each use and they will last a long time.

I'm sure they will break one day if I press on them too hard and I'm sure they will rust like others have already said. But for the price, and if they're not your primary drywall tools, they will work. Don't expect a professional tool - they aren't - but the different sizes in one set at this price point will certainly come in handy.

I have been a professional drywall contractor for 27 years. I know my knives are not professional knives, just look at the price. They are not meant to be used all day, every day. They are designed for such unusual places as doorways between pipes and the like. They are perfect for this, they are flexible and come in different sizes, this is my second set. I lost the first set so don't buy them thinking you'll finish the whole house because they won't break.

This kit was ordered for a simple putty. On day one I noticed that the 2 largest sizes were broken right where the blade meets the handle. By the end of the week 5 out of 7 had broken in the same spot leaving only the 1" and 1 1/2" blades intact. I understand it's a cheaper plastic kit, but there's no excuse for the handle connection to be so flimsy that they all break before I even get a chance to do a single job with it. These are spatulas, what can you say about them? They smear putty or putty or whatever. My main complaint is that I had to clean the knives with unscented mineral spirits and all of the printing, including the blade dimensions, washed off. These are lightweight knives that need to be dried immediately after cleaning. Steel blades rust quickly when wet. My set started rusting on the edge of the blade after the first use. Of course, after cleaning, I let them air dry overnight. It was a big mistake. I don't think I'll be buying more drywall knives in the future as I only have small repairs around the house and these knives are capable of the job.
