I chose Wago connectors because they were compact, insanely easy and quick to install, and designed for both solid and stranded wire. And it was all true. But when one of my circuits failed (total short, overheated to neutral), the wires in that circuit became intermittent and had to be replaced. In 40 years I've never had to do this with wire nuts. So. Wagos I still use, but only in easily accessible places where the advantages (much easier to connect 5 wires) outweigh the possibility of failure. Your mileage may vary.
