I was given a 7 1/4 circular saw. They said it won't start. I'm not an expert. I thought it might be a motor, a cable, or a switch. The brushes were ok. I settled on what I thought was the most likely cause and also cheaper than buying a new engine. I'm lucky again. You feel good when you can bring something that has been scrapped back to life. This is a Chinese saw, type not specified. Sounds very good. He cut himself, I buy him a new Diablo blade and everything will be perfect. Many Thanks. atti
