I recently built a computer shelf to house the UPS, surge protector and computer and used the pocket holes to assemble the shelf. After filling all the holes with oak dowels, I needed a way to glue the dowels as close to the oak boards as possible. By snipping off some of the Dremel guard so I had easy access to the connectors and setting the bit 1/32" above the wood I was able to take my time and remove the material so it always stays flush with the material to keep the Dremel from coming loose. The photos above show the modified Dremel attachment, then the underside of the multi-tool and a few passes of the multi-tool to remove the rest of the stuff, and the last photo shows the underside of the shelf (which was never too will be seen) and end caps The entire computer shelf was fitted with 70 pocket holes and 70 pocket dowels.
