Review on Electrical Sab0043 Starter 4509807 4509809S by Chris Walker

Starter arrived two days early. Check the screw holes and they line up perfectly with the existing mounting holes. I removed the battery, gas tank and battery platform to access the old starter and put in the new one. I had to work from the top and bottom to tighten the screws. At the same time I also installed a new magnet (VKS XR-2014 Starter Solenoid MTD Ward Yard Man 725-1426). I recreated the given project and immediately earned it. I am now trying to figure out why I struggled with the old starter for years and was limping year after year. My JD 112 is probably a late 60's or early 70's car. Based on my little experience I would recommend this starter for the price. Time will tell if that was a good investment.
