Review on Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 215/65 R16 98H all season by Micha Poklkowski ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

An unattractive product, an unprofitable purchase.

Attention! Tires are never off-road! Prior to this, Geolender AT G012 had worn out since new. Rubber was beyond praise. And it's great on the highway, and it's not dumb to drive into the mud. Passed on it about 100 thousand km.-only a positive impression. On the G015 on the highway, it’s excellent, like a decent ATeshka, it adds 1.5 liters of fuel consumption, it handles well, it normally keeps rutting on asphalt. But! It is worth pulling out onto the dirt road after rain, the car becomes uncontrollable, despite the rather "evil" tread, which immediately clogs with mud and behaves like a bald highway. You can't get out of the slightest wet rut. I'm talking about dirt in general. Where it calmly passed on the worn G012, it’s better not to meddle on the G015. A walk behind the tractor is provided. Neither the four-wheel drive, nor the disconnected ESP, nor the lowering help. Passed on it 12,000 km. In short, a complete disappointment. It would be better on the advice of friends, I would add a dozen and buy an ATeshka from another manufacturer. Machine-frame Nissan Pathfinder R51.

Pros
  • Holds the asphalt road well, Moderately noisy.
Cons
  • Patency.
