Auntie had problems with her Impala 01. Lights on and off, battery dead for no reason, windows cannot be lowered. After replacing the module yourself (at the dealer parking lot) and flashing everything works as it should again. On examination, the old one had electrical components that had gotten hot and were physically failing. than physically cracked and falling apart. Don't pay 100 shillings to have the dealer replace it. It only takes 5-10 minutes to get the old one out and the new one in, and most places will charge $100 to flash it. Much luck!
