It will not fit a larger smartphone

I bought this for my car dashboard because the description said it would fit the iPhone 7Plus. While it's technically fit for a big phone, it's definitely not perfect. It might have worked on an air vent, but the weight of a large phone makes the stand bounce around anywhere when mounted on a car dashboard. Also, the phone tends to slip out of its stand when held horizontally (which I need when using map apps).
