Wow. I never write bad reviews unless I've encountered rubbish. That's it . first review ever. I have been using this pump for 4 months. After 4 months of use in my sump pit, the bottom of the pump cracked open like "a can of (smelly) tuna". The welds and spot welds came loose and the bottom of the pump cracked open like a tin can. Welding is a joke. Thank goodness Revain provided a replacement and I have asked for a 100% refund if this happens again. I will try again because Revain gave me a 100% money back guarantee if this happens again. Overall I like this powerful 1.5 HP pump. for this price. I can say that he has great power. Wow. Welds and spot welds? Welds like a 5 year old kid made it out of plasticine. To kid. A suggestion to the manufacturer if you plan on staying in business: 1) Replace your welds with stainless steel bolts, washers and nuts because your welding and spot welding is a joke. 2) Also, after 4 months of use, the shaft started to rust or something under the pump started to rust. Joke.3) Take a look if you want to make "stainless steel pumps" and it is 100% stainless steel and price accordingly. I would actually pay more, this pump was a REAL bargain. Look at the photos! For real? Oh well! Weak, weak, weak, weak welds! I gave a 2 star rating. 1 star for being a respected 1.5hp pump and another star for replacing the welds with 100% stainless steel bolts and a stainless steel shaft. FIX IT! I gave you a chance I decided to stick with the pump in hopes the welds would come out better the second time and because Revane had told me I would refund the money if it happened again. The two parts of the pump shown in the photos have been spot welded. It's ONE piece when you open the box. The spot welding was like a "braid" in 4 places. In fact, "Zopf” is large, this dotted seam is the size of "Moskitokot”, see photo. Who does it? No welder? Each weld must be at least 1" long or use stainless steel studs! Get it right next time. I gave you a chance or your money back. ***NOTE. I just received a replacement pump and installed it. I will update this review after a year of use update in May 2020. ***Updated late September 2019. Almost 6 months of use. So far it's good. The welds on this pump are held up unlike the first. I love how strong this pump is. I think I do have 1 bad pump if a million so far it's good rating upgrade to 3 stars if it takes another 6 months I'll upgrade to 4 stars.
