I recently built a large covered sun deck and not wanting to use diagonal 4x4 corner braces I used a stainless steel cable cross brace instead. I feel my tent is strong enough to withstand the cross wind force, but I'm not sure the wind can push the tent up. These eyebolts are screwed into the underside of the girder and connected to the eyelet by bolts fixed in the concrete slab. I don't expect any wind problems and these eye bolts are stainless steel, they will be strong and should never rust.
