I used it on my 10 lb Yorkie's feet, around the eyes and rear end with success. It works great for my needs. It did not heat up nor did the battery run low. I love the light as I have a hard time seeing clearly at times. I charged it for 4 hours but did not see the light go off so I do not know if the light goes off when charging is completed.11/30/20.On the third time I used these clippers the blades would not cut the hair. I oiled the blades and made sure they were clean and they still would not cut. Do not waste your money on throw away clippers.
