Review on πŸ”ͺ Highly Efficient Japanese Weeding Sickle with Razor-Sharp Edge for Swift Results by Julius Hunter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Weeds are afraid of this tool. In earnest. SPICY!

I'm an avid gardener from Wyoming where our weeds are often mistaken for trees. Sometimes I like to feel the grass between my toes and the garden barefoot. This would be a VERY BAD idea if you are using this tool. This suction cup is razor sharp and will cut through any weed root you bring it to. It cuts just below the surface of the dirt, making picking up a cut weed head easier. I love it, and my other favorite Revain tool, the Dramm 18026 compact stainless steel shears, cut almost any weed. The Dramm tool also has terribly sharp ends, by the way, and should also be used with great respect. I'm something of a loose cannon in the garden and have stabbed myself more than twice. Ouch! Keep children away from these tools. We have a lot of deep-rooted native grass here that has gotten out of hand, but this tool will help dig up the roots. It doesn't work for the worst. Used as a hand hoe, it won't cut grass roots, which is good for grass because a root chisel will help the clumps re-form, but almost lift the roots out of the ground. It also works with wide leaves. weeds on the lawn. It requires a bit of skill, but you'll get weeds without damaging the grass. The more I read about the carcinogenic chemicals in the herbicide sprays we so commonly use, the more I lean towards manual processing. Good exercise. Unfortunately, I have concrete edges around a lot of my beds and using this tool too close has dulled it a bit, but it's still pretty sharp. I just ordered another one because I've been known for finding tools that I put down and didn't find until spring. Happy weeding.
