Good unit . - my new review

The first one of these I purchased( craftsman ) had a plastic gear drive, that eventually wore out . This unit is slightly bigger therefore storage cabinet had to be readjusted. It’s direct drive so it should hold up better . It’s sold under a lot of different brand names . And about $100 cheaper than my local box store .

Pros

Offers consistent and smooth sanding results

Cons

The sanding belt can create a lot of heat, which means that you'll need to be careful not to burn your workpiece or the machine itself
