Replaced a bulky, heavy lamp with this light and did a great job freeing up space on my bedside table. It has 2 additional sockets and 4 USB ports with 2.4A for charging and accessories. *Included* Lights (2 - Warm and Soft White) - ideal performance for the bedroom. The black model with white LED clock looks great in any room. Assembly is pretty easy. I thought the lamp unit would be easy to disable but I was wrong. It actually takes *a lot* of effort to even plug it in. It has a bulge in the middle for stability and only lets it plug into the middle outlet and nowhere else. Once assembled it is very durable. I can lift the entire lamp without fear of losing it when moving. The clock's height and brightness are just perfect (and adjustable) for use as a night light. I can walk with the lights off without fear of tripping. It's also easy to set up, and you can insert AA batteries to save time when turning off or moving the lamp. CONS: - 2 extra sockets are on top, so no protection from curious children. I want it to be at the back so it looks cleaner and safer. Or they can add built-in connector shields. There's not much room for two spare sockets. So you can't stick the warts in the wall. - The alarm sound is a joke. It's literally like a wristwatch alarm clock. It will not wake up a medium/heavy sleeper. Overall, this is one of the best purchases I've made in my life. I can't believe other companies don't make them. If the company fixed the above issues, they would fly off the shelf.
