I paid 86500 for the lens in September of last year, and now that I'm looking at the price, I'm glad I did since otherwise I wouldn't be able to spend that much money on a 135mm lens. I'm happy with the lens, however after the whale I'm considering renting a Canon 24-70, f2,8 before selling and purchasing this Canon. Some benefits The aperture is the biggest benefit; for me, f2,8 offers pleasing bokeh and crispness. Cons of it: After a two-hour shooting session, the carcass 7d mark 2 was occasionally rather heavy. It was hard to accomplish it like in a Canon lens since I still haven't used to the fact that the focal length ring is in a different location and needs to be turned in the opposite direction.
