The Vornado Pivot3 fan is really good. Airflow is decent on all three settings, providing a nice breeze to keep you cool. I use it as a desktop fan at work and it does its job well. Summer is upon us in Texas and a fan is badly needed. I think it can circulate throughout the room, but certainly not immediately. It takes time. But that's not why I bought this fan. Complaint: At low speeds, the fan hums for a few minutes as if something were rattling, then the rattling disappeared after about 5 minutes of operation. It's not audible on medium and high settings.
