Perfect for quick "close enough " long measurements

I use it for measuring landscaping, trench lengths, estimating pipe lengths, fence post placement, etc. It's fairly accurate and easy to use. Brake and reset on the handle are excellent. Sand works in the bike, but going fast on non-sandy terrain helps. I used it pretty roughly, folded it in half and tossed it in the back of a truck for about a month with no problem.
