Bought these cones for a support group at a major police department. Our team saw them being used by firefighters and we thought they would be great. Easy to store, lightweight and easy to insert and remove. The team members loved her until then. After releasing eight cones in less than a month, three of them were broken. One on a tow truck at the scene of the accident while reversing and two inattentive motorists. All three were broken and decaying. (See photo.) The idea is great, but cheap, lightweight plastic bases are completely useless in real road conditions. They might be good for soccer practice, but I still don't think they will hold up if someone steps on them. Sorry but for the purpose they are made for, don't waste your money.
