Review on KOHLER GENUINE GP1083167 Kohler Toilets by Andrew Webster

As other reviewers have pointed out, the blown valve is NOT suitable for all class 5 toilets! I chose black and then read the packaging and found out I needed a GRAY barrel! My toilet fill valve broke and I had to return my toilet urgently so like an idiot I installed the wrong one thinking it would work. Silly me. Our original valves are grey, but they don't have stupid flow restrictors! I accepted and set the limiter to 50% thinking that's what I need. Apparently both of these dmn valves now include flow restrictors so I have no idea what the difference between the two is. So far it looks like that incorrect valve probably cost me 1400-2100 gallons of water! 🤬 Nothing else has changed to cause such a massive waste of water! I will buy a gray block and hope it will solve this problem. I watched the toilet cistern and bowl fill up after a long flush, and then watched in horror as the BOWL filled, but the cistern wasn't filled yet. I watched gallons of water pour out of the bowl. I still have no idea what delimiter to use or why there are differences, but don't make the same idiotic mistake I did and think the two are interchangeable! YOU ARE NOT.
