A few installation notes. As others have pointed out, the instructions are not very good. You will need to adjust the height of the new valve to match the height of the valve you are pulling out of your tank. The instructions state that to change the height of the valve, you must hold the valve stem with one hand and turn the bottom of the valve with the other hand. As other reviewers have pointed out, the blown valve is NOT suitable for all class 5 toilets! I chose black and then read the packaging and found out I needed a GRAY barrel! My toilet fill valve broke and I had to return my toilet urgently so like an idiot I installed the wrong one thinking it would work. Silly me.
