Best budget brush I've ever used

I use Purdy brand brushes when I paint with semi-gloss or high-gloss paint or when brush strokes are important. My primer brushes from the hardware store were worn out, so I ordered these to try. I feel really bad using them as foundation brushes because they are so awesome. The bristles are a bit stiff for delicate work, but overall these brushes are amazingly high quality! They are soft enough for most jobs and clean really well. I've knocked them out neatly with the primer on the walls and other rough surfaces but they look like day one. I've only lost one bristle, and that was in a thorough cleaning that the cheapest brushes couldn't handle. They never left any stubble on my paintwork. For the price of discarded brushes, they're better than Wooster and other mid-range brands. I've done a few jobs with them and they clean like new, ready for the next job. I am deeply impressed. I might even try to work with them a bit to see how they behave.
