I already have Cat6 running through the house and also between all the network equipment (I have my own modem, router, access points, etc). I hadn't really messed with cat8 cables at all, let alone flat ones. I connected this cable from my PC to the wall (so from wall to switch to router to modem is still all cat6) and was surprised to see better latency as well as a slight boost to download speed! I actually pay for 400/20Mbps from Spectrum but get slightly better speeds due to having my own equipment. I would definitely recommend this cable and I may buy more to use between the switch and router to see if that gives the same boost in latency to the whole house. We're a house full of gamers so latency is a top priority for us. For full disclosure I ran 10 tests over the course of about 15 minutes on each cable type and the images posed are from the best of each. The tests were run in safe mode with no other services running on the PC (confirmed via Wireshark as well as my PiHole DNS Server).
