As others have said, keep the plastic pusher clips from the old one. Do yourself a favor and change them if they aren't broken. I tried to use this spare part as it was sent. Plastic clamps didn't clamp the pushers tight enough. When I tried to open the tailgate after the complete assembly, the tailgate got stuck in the closed position. After much pain trying to open it, I found that the pushrods pulled straight through the clamps. I did it again and tried again without disabling the access panel. Of course, they slipped off like a plucked nut every time. I replaced them with the originals and everything has been fine ever since.
