In general, I was not used to breaking the speed limit, so I drove for 12 years without using such devices. The purchase was prompted by two consecutive fines from the category "for nothing": a flat country road, without settlements and other reasons for speed limits. Suddenly, suddenly there is a sign of 50 or 60, and after a couple of kilometers (when you already forget about this sign), the "shepherd" grazes a tripod. I didn’t like paying 2k for driving at a speed of 95 on a flat road, so I went to choose a radar detector. After reading a lot of tests and comparing their results with my budget, two models took the lead: this one and the NeoLine 7500. I refused the latter only because of the speaker protruding from below, and, accordingly, the impossibility of using it "lying on the mat." I have been riding for 10 months with this device, I have not yet received any fines) During this time, I involuntarily studied what radars are and how they look. The recognition range suits, when detecting a KRIS, Cordon, Strelka or an unsigned Arena (both in the forehead and in the back), I quite have time to slow down without using the brakes. The stingray, of course, recognizes it too late (but other taxiways show not the best results here either): 100-150 meters in the forehead and "in fact" in the back. But at the same time, the RD warned me about everyone I met on the roads, Skats, according to the base (even about mobile ones installed on the roof of a car). Against lasers, I suspect the device is useless. recognizes them directly at the time of travel, but I will not argue, because I met laser "Poliscan" and "LISD" only when passing through the "Platon" frames. Interference from DMZ and automatic doors cuts off only in the "city" modes, in the "highway" it always catches them, but this is not a big problem, because. they are easy to identify by the level and nature of the signal growth. To summarize: the most important thing I wanted (protection from "jackals" working not for traffic safety, but for my own pocket), I got! I wish everyone not to violate traffic rules. :)
