Review on Upgraded NEW SUN 4 to 7 Way Blade Trailer Adapter Electrical Connector with Sturdy Mounting Bracket for Enhanced Functionality by John Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

great value for connector

I had to rewire my truck from a flat 4 pin connector to a round 7 pin connector to accommodate trailer breakage. The only thing not mentioned was the auxiliary power fuse (battery charging on trailer) so I went with a 50 amp fuse. Google said alternators can deliver 30-300 amps so I only used the fuse to charge the second battery to a minimum. I couldn't find a factory wire for the auxiliary power supply or the electrical shutdown system, so I routed a new wire harness from the back to the front, starting with an 18 gauge wire and realizing it was too small, and eventually changing the wiring to 12 -gauge
