This is the third bike I use this brand on. For this application I used a multi-metal as it is intended for fat biking on snowy trails so I wanted to use a metal component for wet use but didn't want sintering noise and wanted organic grip. I thought to try this. I like them so far although I've only ridden about 50 miles and been happy. I made sure to update and clean the rotors but other than that they were easy to install and made good pads. They squeak when wet, but dry out and settle down quickly, and the initial bite is moderate. What takes her from four to five stars is her wet performance. Even with a bad break-in, they work great. No matter the temperature, falling big flakes or splashing wet mud, they work great. Even on my gargantuan 26x4.8" tire they hold up with dignity and predictable reliability. Highly recommend.
