Great little lightbox. Very bright. I use it to view and sort slides and photo negatives. The size is so big that you can't fit a ton of slides at once, but you can lift a slide over it and see a picture (!) which helps with sorting. This is so bright. Comes with a black leather case which is beautiful and holds 6 AAA batteries (not included). The only thing puzzling is that the manual says to remove the batteries when not in use, but they fit in a pocket so there's no problem. There is also an on/off switch on the side. I don't know how long the batteries will last but after going through a few hundred slides I'm still on my first set. Good value for money especially if you don't need a huge area.
