Review on 💪 Wej PD58: Optimal Performance with Internally Threaded Diameter by Dakota Afzalian

Just moved and needed to install lifting anchors in a new garage/shop. These are the anchorages prescribed by the elevator manufacturer. Now I have installed this lift in two places plus two more for friends. I used these anchors for all. For this installation, 16 anchors are inserted into the concrete under the porcelain stoneware floor. I've drilled holes in concrete myself for previous installations, but because of the tile I figured a commercial concrete drilling company would do it this time. A 1 inch diameter hole is punched in the tile, plus an additional 1/8 inch at the top of the concrete. A 7/8 inch diameter hole with a total depth of 6 1/2 inches is then drilled in the concrete. This allows the dowel to sink fully into the concrete without touching the tile. Anchors are easy to install using the method outlined in the Wej-It guide. Depending on the tile, the installation depth can be adjusted with centimeter precision. I add lube to the threads of the installation tool (long bolt) where the nut is used to lift and install the anchor. Otherwise there was no drama setting the anchors on straight, well cleaned holes. I left the 4Runner K (our heaviest machine) on the lift a few inches off the ground for a few days for testing/observation. There is no noticeable movement. The torque on the bolts is the same as when the posts were originally installed, indicating nothing has moved or stretched. The husband of Mrs. Dr. Bob can safely use the elevator now.
