I already own one set of Bulbrite commercial string lights that are under my porch roof, and I love them. I purchased 4 sets of these lights (with bulbs) and the light strings themselves are great. Not so great: the cheap bulbs provided with the set. We installed 3 of the 4 strings in a converted warehouse/event space for a holiday party. Three of the 45 bulbs (one bulb per 15-light string, on average) lit up briefly then fizzled out, leaving a cloudy white residue inside a useless bulb. Bummer, except that, already owning a set of these at home, I happened to have some (much better quality) spare bulbs on hand. You should not have to immediately go out and by bulbs after plugging in your string lights for the first time. Very poor quality bulbs that I expect to be replacing often until I have replaced all with the bulbs that should have come with the lights in the first place. Nevertheless, a great, bombproof string of lights.
