This was the second AC/Heater switch I had to replace on my Ford Expedition. I won't go into too much detail but it's a really horrible Ford design and it's just crap like this that made me stay away from Ford. Quality is not our concern. If you are having problems with the Expeditionary rear heater and air conditioner, you will need to replace it. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when, to be honest. So if you have a Ford Expedition and are accumulating miles to get there, consider buying heated AC versions of these to have on hand as they will go bad. Ford designed them to go bad. This is an awful design and I have no doubt that a third grader could have done a better job designing an electromechanical switch.
