Works as I expected. At a better price than many others!

I used this product to reduce noise and vibration in my '92 Jeep Cherokee. This is an old car so there is no factory silencing so any improvement is an improvement over the stock. While I had no illusions that using the Mat66 sound deadening material would transform my Jeep into a top-of-the-line luxury car, I am very pleased with the results. Now, while driving in the jeep, a more muffled sound can be heard.

Self-adhesive automotive insulation is made of butyl. The total weight of the MAT 66 soundproofing is 0.35 pounds per square meter. Foot. This weight provides the optimal performance and soundproofing that you would get with a 50 mil thick material. MAT 66 ProBlack 50 mil is a lightweight soundproofing material!
