This Garmin Oregon GPS carrying case is too big and bulky to use. Looks like it was designed for the Colorado model and they only applied it to the Oregon model. Of course it works, but it's too high. Maybe an inch shorter. The Oregon is secured internally with a tie-down strap and Velcro that places it at the extreme bottom with an inch of dead space at the top. Also, it's too thick (2.25 inches) as it needs to be big enough to fit a large clip and Velcro inside. And a strap on the outside (Velcro) to attach it to your pant belt, well, it's backwards. Use it, leaving the velcro attached and detaching the strap from the pant loops and threading it through the loop of the bag. The bag has a high-quality carabiner and is well made. And so does if you open the case while it's on the belt, it has tether straps that open 90 degrees so the GPS can be read at belt level without removing it from the case. I take a smaller padded case with belt loop, e.g. B. Caselogic or similar my Oregon has.
