I like this mount although it has some disadvantages. It's a great design made specifically for the CX-5 (here 2017) and sticks STRONGLY to the car. It looks like it blocks the alarm button, but in fact you can easily access it even when your phone is plugged in. It might look a little cheap, but your phone will be where it's not a problem. One of my only complaints is that the connection (where the base connects to the holder and rotates) seems to loosen easily and I have to keep tightening it. Also, when my phone is attached, it blocks part of the touchscreen, making it difficult to see some elements. However, I agree that my phone (Note 10+) is a large and heavy phone that can cause these issues.
