Perfect for Slot. There is enough space between the air vent and the phone, and you can still easily press the ER indicator and open/close the air vent.

I can say the quality of the plastic leaves something to be desired, the mount works but I doubt how long it will last before cracking.

The only downside is that sometimes my phone sags when in the holder like the phone is too heavy to stay in place. Maybe I need to strengthen the connection.

I've bought 2 picks before. They obstructed my vision, sucked poorly, and were too big to fit on the dash. It's cool and very comfortable. Don't take another!

I like this mount although it has a few flaws. It's a great design made specifically for the CX-5 (here 2017) and sticks STRONGLY to the car. It looks like it blocks the alarm button, but in fact you can easily access it even when your phone is plugged in. It might look a little cheap, but your phone will be where it's not a problem. One of my only complaints is that the connection (where the base connects to the holder and rotates) seems to loosen easily and I have to keep tightening it. Also,
