Nowhere does it mention that you can ONLY use Kreg reconciliation screws and screwdrivers with this if you use it as intended. That means you have to buy all your screwdrivers and screws from Kreg Tool. Based on the above, and the fact that I've driven thousands of screws, square drives, torquers and others, it would be wise to buy at least one other screwdriver, if not two. . I would be sad if I had a screwdriver in the middle of work. I figured I would have to buy special screws when I found out they are designed so the screws go through the same holes used to drill the composite. Now that I have this, I know that other regular decking screws, even with smaller heads than standard screws, won't go through the pilot holes. That is everything out of the way everything else is fine you might consider drilling holes in the spacer finger area and threading the strings through them so if you drop them it doesn't hurt to retrieve them I like the weight and I like it buy hot glue in bulk, since I had the gun for another project I filled in all the indentations on the bottom with hot glue just to add some weight and strength to the attachment, but this is not necessary, it was just my whim .
