Husband bought this set to relieve back stiffness. His only problem is NOT the massage balls but some of the painted surfaces in our apartment. The satin finish used on the doors is not suitable for these massage balls. You want a surface painted with flat paint so the massage ball can catch on the surface and stick better to your back. He uses a purple massage ball as it has enough strength for his muscles. I've tried this and I like it too. It's good to have 3 levels of firmness so you can choose based on your fitness level and degree of muscle stiffness. The massage balls come with a nice storage bag. We are happy with our purchase.
