I ended up just using the plastic handle. I had to disassemble the handle from the flush sleeve because the plastic part that was supposed to fit in the toilet was too big and was sticking out. Instead I used the old one flush with the part that matches the handle. Now it works and my old broken pen has been replaced. So we're fine, and I'll leave the device. Recommendation: Provide a way for the part that goes into the tank through a square hole to vary in size, or provide the dimensions in the description. As for the seller. The item was as described, arrived a day early and I was able to get it working. I recommend the seller.
