I'm confused about these ties. I have purchased several sets of zip ties from different manufacturers and this is the thinnest set I have ever received with this spec. On the other hand, they look like high quality cable ties and close like a dream. But the space between the sides is tiny, almost like a wire, meaning the tab you tuck the end into is tiny too. That's great if you want the screed to be very discreet, but not so great if you don't have steady hands or good eyesight. For 99.99% of cable tie buyers, this is obviously not a problem. I'm just saying that this might be a problem for some people. I use zip ties to make cages for small rodents like hamsters and mice. I love that they are so small I don't have to tape my ties shut to hide them. This saves a lot of time and money and the cage still has a highly polished look. The straps are the most flexible I've ever used. This makes it easy to fasten ties. You literally feel the power in ties. Bindings are unlikely to become brittle and break in the future if stored in poor conditions. I'm not sure if they're UV resistant, but they don't feel like the ties I've gotten brittle from the sun's rays. So as far as zip ties go, they make excellent zip ties for just about any sane purpose. I see uses for them other than making cages, so I'm glad there's a lot of them in the pack.
