I just received this. It works as expected. It switches between computers well and I had no trouble getting the keyboard and mouse to work. However, the initial joy of having a working KVM again was marred today when I realized I was typing too fast for it. At a more normal speed, it still can't capture all of my characters. It does have an option for recording speed on keystrokes, but it still can't record everything on the fastest setting. Another annoying thing is that sometimes the character you just typed is repeated 10-20 times. Therefore, entering invisible passwords (as opposed to *) can be a pain. I've only had this KVM for a day, so I'll likely write more once I've tested it a little further. PS! Don't forget to get cables for it! It has audio cables but no KVM cables. I received the following: StarTech.com 2"-1 Ultra Thin USB KVM Cable (SVECONUS6) ETA: After some more testing, I concluded that my keyboard and KVM combo was the problem, so I'm giving this KVM return.
