So far these have been excellent air vents. You have a surprisingly good weight. There is no problem with them sinking or staying down when attached to the leash and suction cups. I had no dust or shavings from the packaging. There were also no blockages during installation - all bubbled vigorously during the test and worked perfectly in their tanks. Problem. They didn't have dead zones to attract fish. The colors in my tanks blended well and the small size was easy to hide. Note that they didn't appear to have any residue or unwanted contamination on them. I think that covers all the bases lol. It was good value for quality air stones and I would buy them again if needed.
