Review on FURemover Broom: Pet Hair Removal Tool with Squeegee & Telescopic Handle, Extends 3-5 Feet - Black & Yellow by Jesse Azuse

I don't know exactly how to write a review about this (because I'm a bit disappointed) but I'll try it at uni. I ordered this because I have dogs and wanted to have my carpets cleaned. Basically, this does a pretty good job of cleaning carpets, but you'll need to apply some "elbow" lube to sweep carpets. Here's the problem, the yellow metal coating cracked on day one. While I'll say the bottom shaft isn't broken, I'm wondering if it's weak. It doesn't look like the bottom bar is broken but I have a feeling this product could break on you as you have to use elbow wax to really remove pet hair from carpets. It was $21 so personally I'm not going to go crazy and ask for a refund as it looks like some hassle but I probably wouldn't order this again. I would rather pay more and get a durable product that knows it takes a bit of grease to sweep dog hair and they make a more durable product. (Apologies for imperfect grammar/sentences etc, you get the gist) UPDATE: Purchased January 21, 2018. Shaft broke February 13, 2018. Shaft will not withstand the pressure required to sweep carpets containing pet hair . There is a silver lining. Since the head is unscrewable, I was able to screw it onto an old brush I bought at my local grocery store.
