Pros: Really waterproof (probably protection from dust mites) Fits my 12 inch mattress (see cons) Cons: NOT breathable no matter what temperature AllerEase uses "equalization technology” like sleeping on plastic in terms of its breathability. Absolutely "changes the feel of your mattress". Not only does it make it a sweat factory, it also makes it firmer because it compresses the mattress when the cover needs to stretch. fit over the mattress. For reference I have a Tuft & Needle mattress with its 2 inch topper (great mattress for the price and very nice people btw) and high quality cotton sheets (Brooklinen is amazing! You won't regret it). I never fell asleep in front of this cover and was wondering when I can sleep because it was WONDER HOT even though a lot of fans had gathered. Honestly, I'm going to sleep in another room now. The next time you wash, that terrible investment will pay off.
