I have been shooting with this camera for over a year now and feel I can give a full review. Pros: Excellent image quality, wide open lens ecosystem (I shot a lot with old Minolta glasses), very small and light body. The electronic viewfinder is a great feature; The ability to use level, focus, grid, zebra stripes, etc. while looking through the viewfinder is invaluable, especially when shooting with manual focus. The ergonomics of this camera are great! It is greatly appreciated that you can achieve any shutter speed/aperture/whatever you program without taking your hand off the grip. expensive autofocus adapters. Battery life is also pretty poor as Sony tries to keep battery levels consistent across all A-series cases. I'd say you'll probably get 300-400 shots on a single charge. Although the camera itself is light, the lenses in the first batch usually weigh as much as the body itself! I wouldn't be surprised if my zoom lenses start to crawl from dragging my body so far down while I'm wearing them. Finally, this is a minor nitpick, but Sony seems to have included "DLC" for their A-series cameras. This means that you have to pay to unlock certain features, e.g. B. the ability to hold the shutter open for longer than 30 seconds (an extra $4.99 I think, but I could be wrong). I suspect that if you bought this camera for astrophotography and want to use it right away, you would be disappointed. beings? It's cool technology with a few glaring flaws. However, if you are looking for a cheap full-frame mirrorless camera, I would say that this is your best bet. I've included a few sample photos that have been minimally edited.
