Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced Micro Plated Hardened Nozzle RepRap: Unleashing Precision in 3D Printing by Michael Gonzales

Seeping filaments

I wanted to start printing carbon fiber polycarbonate on my Snapmaker 2.0 so I got this attachment - M6, 0.4, just what I needed. The problem is that the filament comes out of the filament, eventually reaching the top and ruining the prints after about 45 minutes - 1 hour. Of course, removing the PITA nozzle does the same, since you have to bring it up to operating temperature first in order to unscrew it. nozzle and try to remove excess filament at the hot end with tweezers. Not sure if I have a broken one, if it's not an MK8 (didn't see it listed anywhere) or is being played with long strings, although I suspect it isn't, and it's fully tightened. . Anyway, 20 bucks later and a few bad prints/lost computer CF I wouldn't recommend this if you have my printer, although it seems to work fine on others.

Pros
  • 1.75mm filament / M6 thread
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
