That hot end is so metallic

Adding a steel nozzle to your 3D printer is a great upgrade, whether you're printing PLA or other abrasive filaments. The standard thread and length made installation very easy (had to do a very small Z offset to the firmware due to the small difference with the brass nozzle). I've printed with this nozzle on an Ender 3 Pro all-metal hot end with no issues (just need to turn up the heat a bit). No signs of wear after a year of constant PLA printing with a steel nozzle that can be replaced withโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hole size: 0.4mm
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great replacement for the brass nozzle!

I have 2 Creality Ender 3s. I have one with the regular stainless steel nozzle and one with this special nozzle. NO MATTER! Will definitely be ordering another one for my other Ender 3. The ONLY gripe is that the cords are too long for the Ender 3. It is punched through and some of the threads are exposed. BUT I've been using it for a few months now and haven't had a single clogging or under-extrusion issue! Due to the high print volume, I clean both of my Ender 3s twice a month. Either way, aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hardened A2 tool steel nozzle with TwinClad XT coating
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Seeping filaments

I wanted to start printing carbon fiber polycarbonate on my Snapmaker 2.0 so I got this attachment - M6, 0.4, just what I needed. The problem is that the filament comes out of the filament, eventually reaching the top and ruining the prints after about 45 minutes - 1 hour. Of course, removing the PITA nozzle does the same, since you have to bring it up to operating temperature first in order to unscrew it. nozzle and try to remove excess filament at the hot end with tweezers. Not sure if I have

Pros
  • 1.75mm filament / M6 thread
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
