I bought two of these and I have other ESP32 development boards that I have used successfully. One of them works fine; It takes a little convincing to get him to accept the program, but it works well. The second could not be programmed at all. On closer inspection, I see that one of the pins (the ever-popular RXD serial receive pin) is not actually connected (as shown in the attached image). Finally I was able to solder a piece of 30 gauge wire to bridge the gap and now I can program it. It gets two stars because I was able to get it to work, but in the future I will buy it from another vendor with better quality control.
