Low Quality Networking Products

I bought two of these and I have other ESP32 development boards that I have used successfully. One of them works fine; It takes a little convincing to get him to accept the program, but it works well. The second could not be programmed at all. On closer inspection, I see that one of the pins (the ever-popular RXD serial receive pin) is not actually connected (as shown in the attached image). Finally I was able to solder a piece of 30 gauge wire to bridge the gap and now I can program it. It…

Buy no less than 50% working

I bought 12 modules, I was lucky that the first open module worked, so I used it to develop and test code. Now I've come to use the rest, they were kept unopened in anti-static bags: 2 modules won't program, timed out when Arduino 1.8.13 tries to program the device. The program 5 modules but no connection to WiFi 5 modules works fine.
